FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The man in charge of the Habitat for Humanity of Greater Fort Wayne is calling it quits.

Justin Berger has announced he’s leaving the organization after leading it for the past 8 years, and wouldn’t say in an interview with the Journal Gazette just why he’s leaving.

The nonprofit housing organization has flourished under his leadership, including the building of the Fuller’s Landing subdivision off West Cook Road and the opening of a new $4.5-million ReStore location on Lima Road.

Berger says he’s not sure yet when his final day will be, as he’s currently working on developing a leadership transition plan with the organization’s board of directors.
