Fort Wayne Flight Delays

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO):  Air travelers in Indiana are experiencing long airport delays because of a snow across the United States.  Several flights have already been either delayed or cancelled at the Fort Wayne International Airport and are expected to escalate over the next few days.

About 2,200 flights have been cancelled nationwide Friday according to the aviation tracking website FlightAware.com.  The storm and the cold temperatures are now blamed for 13 deaths as it swept across the eastern half of the country.

You are advised to check your flights early and often if you plan on traveling this weekend.
