FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A gay nightclub in Fort Wayne is receiving support from the community after a terror attack at a similar club in Orlando.
After Dark Nightclub has received flowers, drawings, and well-wishes since the shooting at the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando early Sunday morning that killed 49 and left dozens wounded.
Charles Miller, an event coordinator at the club, tells our Partners in News at 21Alive he was “heartbroken” by the attack, and adds that the club will be holding a benefit Friday night from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m., with proceeds going to cover the burial costs and medical bills of the victims.
