FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Another step forward for Fort Wayne’s Riverfront development plans.

The City Council is expected to get a look at contracts detailing engineering plans, as well as the final draft of design plans, during a meeting that starts at 5:30pm. The public got a preview of the plans last week.

The initiative includes some big renovations for both sides of the St. Mary’s River in the downtown area, and is expected to cost $20-million. That price tag has led to at least one Council member expressing concern over the scope of the plans.
