FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Fort Wayne City Council will have new Legacy Fund proposals to consider next month.

According to the Journal Gazette, the city's legacy joint funding committee voted yesterday in favor of two funding requests, one from the World Baseball Academy and the other from Parkview's Randallia campus.

Parkview's is requesting $1 million, that would be used toward a new research building. The World Baseball Academy would like $823,000 for facility upgrades and field renovations.
