FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A highly-anticipated expansion to the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo is now open. Stingray Bay officially opened today, featuring a 20,000-gallon saltwater tank filled with stingrays. It's part of the zoo's Australian Adventure section.

“We’re thrilled to introduce our guests to these awesome animals,” said Zoo Director Jim Anderson, who adds that the new exhibit will emphasize ocean conservation.

The exhibit's opening was delayed last week due to problems with the tank's life support systems.
