FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened this morning on the city's west side.

Police say it happened at about 6:45am when someone came into the Burger King at Illinois and Scott, pulled a gun and demanded cash. He then ordered the employees there into a cooler while he escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The man is described as a black male, 6'1″ tall, with a slender build. He was wearing a hooded sweatshirt under a black Comcast jacket, a black hat, and what are described as “cheap kids' winter gloves.”

Nobody was hurt… it's the same restaurant that had a vehicle drive through a couple of dining room windows over the weekend.
