Former Officer Bisard is Moved to a Fort Wayne Jail Cell

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ A suspended Indianapolis police officer facing reckless homicide and other charges for a 2010 crash that killed a motorcyclist and injured two others has been moved to a jail in Fort Wayne.

Officer David Bisard was moved Monday to the Allen County Jail from the Marion County Jail in Indianapolis. He’s due to go before an Allen County judge Thursday for a bond revocation hearing following a recent drunken driving arrest in Indianapolis.

The 2010 case was moved to Allen County because of pretrial publicity in the case in central Indiana. Bisard’s currently scheduled to go to trial in October for the 2010 crash in which he drove his patrol car into two motorcycles stopped at a light, killing one man and seriously injuring two other people.
