INDIANAPOLIS (AP): Court documents say a former Indianapolis high school boys’ basketball coach has agreed to plead guilty to trying to entice a 15-year-old student to have sex with him.

A plea agreement filed Wednesday in Indianapolis federal court say former Indianapolis Park Tudor School coach Kyle Cox admitted the charge. The agreement says Cox won’t ask for less than a 10-year sentence and prosecutors won’t ask for more than 14 years in prison.

Court documents say Cox was 31 when the alleged acts occurred last fall. He is being held on 24-hour lockdown at a Volunteers of America-Indiana community corrections facility in downtown Indianapolis.

The charge also carries a possible fine of up to $250,000 and supervised release following prison time.

Future court dates for Cox haven’t been set yet.
