WARSAW, Ind. (WOWO): He's being remembered for growing a Warsaw business into a leader in the bio medical industry.
Former Biomet CEO Dane Miller died Tuesday. Miller was one of four people who founded the company in the 1970's and grew it into a billion-dollar organization specializing in orthopedic implants, including joint replacements.
According to a statement from Biomet, Miller left a lasting impact on the community, the company and industry.
Governor Mike Pence noted Miller's death by calling him a “modest man” who “never lost the common touch”, adding he was “remarkable Hoosier.”
Miller led the company from 1977 to 2006. He was 69
