Foot pursuit results in two arrests near Tippecanoe Lake

OSWEGO, Ind. (WOWO): Two people accused of business fraud were arrested Friday morning.

Deputies with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of two suspicious people inside portable restrooms units near Tippecanoe Lake at about 10 a.m.

The department said in a press release that the man ran away while the woman hid in a portable restrooms.

Steven Paul Gasaway, 25, tried to hide in a cabin-cruiser style boat near the restrooms, but was still found by police.

He has multiple warrants including felony corruption business influence, possession of a controlled substance, one felony charge of failure to appear in court and three misdemeanor counts of failure to appear in court. He’s being held without bond at Kosciusko County Jail.

23-year-old Hannah Marie Brown was also wanted on a single count of felony corruption business influence. She’s being held at Kosciusko County Jail on $10,250 bond.
