Firebomber to Be Sentenced Wednesday

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne man will his learn will sentence Wednesday in Allen Superior Court.

Forty-six-year-old Donald Buchanan of Fort Wayne was facing multiple felony charges for starting a fire at a home on Euclid Avenue, before he reached a plea agreement last month.

According to court documents, Buchanan threw a lit bottle into his former girlfriend's home in April. The woman escaped with her children.

Buchanan was spotted running from the home. He also called her numerous times in the hours after the fire.

He was originally charged with several felonies, including possession of an explosive, arson and intimidation. He could be sentenced to more than 30 years behind bars.
