BOURBON, Ind. (AP): A fiberglass manufacturer is set to open in northern Indiana, bringing nearly 200 jobs to the city of Bourbon.

The Indiana Economic Development Corporation announced Tuesday that Indiana Composites would establish the jobs by 2019. The company is a new venture and a subsidiary of Angola-based IMP Holdings. Indiana Composites will make fiberglass components for the marine, RV and specialty vehicle industry.

The state of Indiana offered Indiana Composites up to $1 million in conditional tax credits and up to $40,000 in training grants.

Officials say Indiana Composites will invest nearly $4 million to open a 75,000-square-foot facility in Bourbon. Construction is expected to begin this month and the company hopes to be fully operational by early next year.
