INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ FBI agents are still removing thousands of Native American, Chinese and other artifacts from a rural central Indiana home.
A 91-year-old man amassed the vast collection over decades, perhaps since childhood. People who have toured the Rush County home before the FBI's arrival Wednesday say it is a virtual museum containing diverse items from Ming Dynasty jade to shrunken heads and a 60-foot-long anaconda skin.
Federal authorities say their aim is to return the items to their original homes across the world.
It isn't clear whether Donald Miller violated any laws with his hobby. DePaul University law professor Patty Gerstenblith says that could depend on whether the items were originally stolen or exported without a license.
Some countries have laws prohibiting the removal of archaeological pieces from the nation.
