NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WOWO): One person is dead after a car accident late last night. Allen County Police were called to Dawkins Road near South Webster near New Haven at 11:30 P.M. The driver and passenger of the vehicle were traveling West on the road when the car left the road and hit an embankment before becoming airborne and hitting two trees. The 20-year-old female passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. The 21-year-old male driver was not injured. Both were wearing seat belts, and alcohol does not appear to be a factor. The investigation is ongoing.
