Family Continues Searching for Indianapolis Infant

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) – The family of a missing Indianapolis infant has renewed its search for him four days after his disappearance.

They searched for 6-week-old Delano Wilson on Sunday on Indianapolis' near west side.

The boy's aunt, Lethrice Hamilton, told WTHR-TV that family and friends were looking in bushes, in poison ivy patches and elsewhere trying to find the child. She says his disappearance has been “heartbreaking.”

The family said they're thankful for the community's support and prayers.

Police canceled an Amber Alert for the baby on Friday but are still pursuing leads in the case.

The boy's father, Willie Wilson, has told police a man and woman knocked him out Wednesday in an alley near his home and abducted his son.
