FAA Investigates Kendallville Plane Crash

KENDALLVILLE, Ind. (WOWO): The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating a small plane crash that happened Wednesday night at Kendallville Municipal Airport.

The plane took off around 8 p.m. when pilot Wesley Ortell attempted to miss a flock of birds flying towards him.

The plane hit the ground with minimal damage and Ortell walked away unharmed.
