FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne sports legend has died.
Eugene Parker is being remembered today as a pioneer in the sports representation industry. The 60-year-old died Thursday after a battle with kidney cancer, according to the News-Sentinel.
Parker played basketball for Concordia High School and Purdue University before spending more than thirty years as a sports agent, representing clients like NFL Hall-of-Famers Deion Sanders and Rod Woodson.
He was made part of the Concordia High School Hall of Fame six years ago.
