Election 2016: Experience a presidential rally in Ohio ahead of primary

OHIO (WOWO): Ohio Gov. John Kasich is hoping to double his delegate count in his home state next week, while Donald Trump is hoping to score and avoid a contested convention.

Polls will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. March 15 for the Ohio Primary. Ohio is a winner-take-all state, and the Republican winner will pick up 66 delegates while the Democrats will fight for 160.

While the candidates are scrambling for votes, some are hosting events in the state.

Governor John Kasich

  • 5:30 p.m. March 11, at Fuyao Glass America,  2801 W. Stroop Road, Moraine, Ohio
  • 1:30 p.m. March 12, at XPERION ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT,1475 James Parkway, Heath, Ohio
  • 6 p.m. March 12, at Gorman Rupp, 600 S. Airport Road, Mansfield, Ohio
  • 6 p.m. March 13, at The Spread Eagle Tavern, 10150 Plymouth St. , Hanoverton, Ohio
  • 2 p.m. March 14, MAPS Air Museum, 2260 International Parkway, North Canton, Ohio
