Eastside Jr./Sr. High School Locked Down Tuesday During Incident in Front of School

BUTLER, Ind. (WOWO): Eastside High School was locked down during an incident in front of the school. Butler Police were called to the scene on report of a man dressed in camouflage with a rifle. 34-year-old Chad Czaja resisted officers’ verbal commands when they told him to exit his vehicle.  He finally did but continued to disobey commands before officers were able to take him into custody. According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, police reported that Czaja was involved in an accident in front of the school and they don’t think there was criminal intent with the rifle and gun that he had on him. Czaja faces several charges, including operating a vehicle while intoxicated, criminal recklessness, and leaving the scene of an accident.
