KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Two people were arrested after an early Saturday morning Pursuit. Indiana State Police Trooper, Jon Price, was out patrolling on County Road 900 around 12:28 a.m. when a Mitsubishi driven by Timothy Criswell, 36, of Wolcottville turned from State Road 13 onto County Road 900 and crossed the center line and almost hit Trooper Price’s marked police car. Price turned around and caught up to the Mitsubishi as it turned in a driveway. Criswell did not stop after Price turned on his lights. Criswell proceeded through the yard and threw something out of the window in the process. Police later found it and suspect it was methamphetamines.
Price continued to pursuit Criswell across county roads, around the south part of Lake Wawasee and then into Noble County. The suspect eventually ended up crashing into a wooden fence, ending the pursuit, near the intersection of Long Lake Road and County Road 300 North.
Timothy Criswell was arrested and taken to Kosciusko County Jail on preliminary charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Syringe, Possession of Paraphernalia, Obstruction of Justice, Resisting Law Enforcement With A Vehicle, Reckless Driving and Operating While Intoxicated. Criswell also had three outstanding warrants in LaGrange County and two warrants in Noble County.
The passenger in the vehicle, Brandi Sowers, 20, of Elkhart was also arrested and transported to the Noble County Jail on an outstanding warrant from the Goshen Police Department.
Trooper Price was assisted by two other Indiana State Troopers, the Syracuse Police Department, the Cromwell Police Department and the Albion Police Department.
