FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A local hospital has been named one of the nations best.

For the second consecutive year in a survey from Truven Health Analytics, Dupont Hospital has been named one of the nation’s top 100 hospitals. In all this is the third time Dupont has been recognized by Truven Health.

“Nearly 15 years after we first opened our doors as a community hospital focused on the delivery of high-quality patient care and customer service, our team members and physicians continue to demonstrate “The Dupont Difference” in all areas,” said Chad Towner, chief executive officer of Dupont Hospital.

Close to 3,000 hospitals were evaluated in part of the study. The winning hospitals were announced in the February 28 edition of Modern Healthcare magazine.
