Driver Goes Missing after DeKalb County Crash

DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department responded to a crash this weekend and the driver was missing.

According to our partners in news at 21Alive, it happened 5 a.m. Sunday on the 7100 block of County Road 30. 20-year-old Colton Ballentine was the only one in the vehicle, and is suspected of driving drunk after crashing his pickup into a utility pole.

Ballentine flipped the truck onto its passenger side and police used a K-9 unit to track him down. He was found at his home and is charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
