Downtown Fort Wayne Drug Raid

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Friday morning, several Fort Wayne law enforcement agencies conducted a drug raid on a Wilt Street apartment.

According to police, detectives received a tip that someone at the apartment was possibly involved in manufacturing methamphetamine. Once inside, detectives found a pistol, pills and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.

Also during the raid, there were two people present: 29-year-old Matthew Yeakle and 32-year-old Lisa Yeakle. Both are now facing the following charges:

* Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance

* Maintaining a Common Nuisance

* Possession of Marijuana

* Possession of Paraphernalia (A-Misdemeanor)

Matthew Yeakle's bond has been set at $30,000 and Lisa Yeakle's bond has been set at $5,000.  She was also seen swallowing somthing, and was taken to a hospital to be checked out.

The individual apartment was condemned after the raid and Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control came and took custody of two dogs.
