Donations Sought for Fire Victims

The Red Cross is partnering with the Mustard Seed furniture bank to help provide relief for those displaced by the fire at the Baldwin Creek Apartments and several other recent apartment fires.  They say that about 20 families are in need this holiday season.  They’re asking for donations of items such as, pots and pans, toasters, crock pots, cookware, kitchen towels and bedding.  The items can be new or gently-used, but must be clean and in working order.  Donated items can be dropped off at the Mustard Seed, 3636 Illinois Road, Monday through Friday from 10 – 4.
