DNA Testing Identifies Second Victim of Milford Fire

MILFORD, Ind. (AP) _ Northern Indiana authorities say DNA testing has successfully identified the second of two people killed in a February fire at an auto repair business.

The Kosciusko County Coroner's office announced Friday that a man's body found at the fire scene has been identified as Jose Medina of Milford.

His body was found Feb. 13 on the first floor of the Medina Body Repair Shop in Milford, a town about 30 miles southeast of South Bend. The Journal Gazette reports that the coroner's office says Medina died from smoke inhalation.

The other person killed in the fire was earlier identified as 25-year-old Annalu Nunez.

Authorities have determined that the fire was accidental and was sparked by an electrical malfunction.
