Disaster Loans Approved for Flood-Damaged Counties

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Low interest disaster loans are being made available to people in 27 Indiana counties affected by severe weather and flooding in June and July. 

That word coming from the US Small Business Administration for both residents and businesses that suffered flood damage. Governor Mike Pence says the loans are important to help those who have suffered damage to homes, possessions, work buildings and other assets. The loans were approved through an effort between the SBA and the Indiana Department of Homeland Security.

Counties eligible include Adams, Allen, Jay, Grant, Huntington, Whitley, Wells, and Wabash. If you're interested you can apply online at the SBA's website or call 800-659-2955.
