Disability Month in Indiana

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO): It's Disability Month in Indiana and more Hoosiers have a disability than you may think.

Nearly 16 percent of Indiana residents have a condition, that's prompted Governor Mike Pence to make the proclamation. The governor says its a way to promote inclusion by working to together to create more accessible communities for everyone.

People from all backgrounds are coming to together volunteer thousands of hours in special activities.
