NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WOWO):  A Fort Wayne developer signed a letter of intent to buy 52 acres of land in New Haven.

According to the Journal Gazette, Michael Kinder & Sons is interested in 1400 S. Ryan Road.  The land is currently held by the Allen County Redevelopment Commission.

It’s reported the company interested is likely industrial in nature and rezoning will not be necessary.

The area at 1400 S. Ryan Road was purchased by the Redevelopment Commission in 2011 for $675,000, but the company interested developing the property was not specified.  The land was recently annexed into New Haven.

The Journal Gazette reports the area was “certified site ready” by the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership in 2013.

The location sits between Edgerton Rd. and Dawkins Rd., and is near Superior Aluminum Alloys LLC.
