Detective: Stripper says Garcia talked of killing…

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) _ A homicide detective says a former doctor accused of killing four people in Nebraska told an Indiana stripper of killing two people.

Anthony Garcia, of Terra Haute is charged with four counts of first-degree murder in the 2008 deaths of the 11-year-old son of Creighton University pathologist William Hunter and the family's housekeeper, as well as the May deaths of Creighton pathologist Roger Brumback and his wife.

Omaha detective Derek Mois testified at a hearing Wednesday that Anthony Garcia told a stripper in 2012 that he killed a “small boy and an old woman.'' He also said Garcia's smartphone revealed a GPS search for the home address of the Brumbacks.

Garcia's attorneys say prosecutors have circumstantial evidence.

A judge has ruled that Garcia will stand trial.
