Details released on Trump rally in Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): It’s official, President Donald Trump is coming to Fort Wayne next week.

As WOWO first told you Sunday night, the President’s website lists Fort Wayne as the host of a rally on Monday, November 5th at 6:30pm. Doors open at the Memorial Coliseum at 3:30pm, and you can sign up for free tickets now at this link.

With the visit coming just one day before Election Day, Trump is expected to tout Republicans in area races, like the re-election campaign of Congressman Jim Banks and the US Senate campaign of Republican businessman and former state lawmaker Mike Braun.

WOWO plans on providing full coverage of the President’s visit.

Does anyone know if we have to print the tickets for the Trump rally on 11/5 or if they just scan your phone?

The White House hasn’t told us. I would presume just scanning your phone should work, but if you have any way to print them just in case, you may want to do so.

Is parking expected to be an issue Monday? And does a ticket guarantee you get into the room?

Yes to parking, but a ticket just guarantees access. If you don’t get there early enough you may have to watch the rally from the Expo Center, so plan to get there early.

I want to take my 9 year old granddaughter to FW International Airport to watch the landing of Air Force One, and watch the motorcade proceed into the city. Anything I should know? are there road closings? Will the airport terminal allow us entry?

We can’t speak to whether or not the terminal will allow entry – you should call the airport for details on that – but there will be road closures. Details here: https://www.wowo.com/allen-county-war-memorial-coliseum-issues-traffic-and-event-advisories-for-trump-rally/
