Decatur to See Increase in Water Bill

The folks who live in Decatur will get a bit of a shock next month when they open their water bill. At the City Council meeting last night, the council agreed to adhere to a directive from the Indiana Department of Enviromental Management that says they must upgrade their sewer system, or face hefty fines. So what does this mean when you’re talking dollars and cents? It could mean an increase between 10 and 45 dollars, and it could show up in your bill as early as next month.
