Deadline Nearing for Counties Affected by April 2013 Flooding

INDIANA, (WOWO): The deadline is nearing for certain Hoosier counties affected by last April’s flooding, to apply for disaster loans.


Small business and some non-profit organizations within 18 eligible counties are being reminded that the deadline to file for Economic Injury Disaster Loans from the
U.S. Small Business Administration is February 10th.

 

The loans are intended for expenses that could have been paid had the storms and flooding not occurred on April 17th – 23rd.

 

The counties eligible for the low interest disaster loans include Blackford, Carroll, Cass, Clinton, Delaware, Grant, Hamilton, Howard, Huntington, Knox, Lake, Madison, Miami, Sullivan, Tipton, Vigo, Wabash and Wells counties.

 

Applicants may apply online using the SBA’s secure website at https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela/.
