INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ Authorities have ordered the closure of an unlicensed Indianapolis day care center and arrested its operator after four children were hospitalized for suspected drug overdoses.

Thirty-seven-year-old Stephanie Gribble was arrested Thursday on four preliminary counts of neglect of a dependent. She remained jailed Friday.

Police reports say three girls and a boy were hospitalized Wednesday after apparently overdosing at the day-care Gribble operates out of her home. The report did not include information on the youngsters' condition or what the substance they may have ingested.

The Indianapolis Star reports state officials issued an order Friday demanding the day-care's closure.

The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration said in a statement Gribble has been cited “multiple times dating back to 2008'' for operating illegal day cares at various locations.
