Crews Work Overnight to Restore Power to Customers

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Crews continue to repair downed power lines and restore electricity to customers in northeast Indiana.

Tuesday night, Indiana Michigan Power reported 1500 Fort Wayne customers remained without power. However, that number was down to roughly 180 customers Wednesday morning. Officials with the power company expect to have power fully restored to Fort Wayne customers by 6:00 P.M. Wednesday.

Kosciusko REMC reported Wednesday morning that all but 20 customers' power has been restored.

Officials remind everyone to stay away from downed power lines.
