Crash Instigator Faces New Charges

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): More charges are coming against a Fort Wayne who crashed his car into another vehicle near Canterbury Green last week.

Last Friday, Jeremiah Therkelsen is accused of smashing his car into the back of another vehicle on St. Joe Road near Canterbury Drive.

According to the Journal-Gazette, Therkelsen is now charged with aggravated battery, criminal recklessness and failure to stop after an accident. 

In that collision, the driver of the other vehicle was left paralyzed with a broken spine. Authorities say Therkelsen intentionally caused the crash to in an attempt to kill himself.
