County Council Approves Tax Abatement for Connecticut Company

ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): A Connecticut firm will be getting a 10-year tax break from the Allen County Council.

The Council approved the abatement for XPO Logistics Worldwide in a 4-2 vote yesterday. The company wants to build a warehouse on Bluffton Road, near the General Mills distribution center in southern Allen County.

The Journal Gazette reports they'll invest more than $26-million and build on a 24-acre plot of land that's been ready for development for the past four years.
