Coroner IDs Two Killed in Sunday Crash

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Allen County Coroner's Office has identified two people killed in a Sunday morning crash in Fort Wayne.

Dead are 22-year-old Dakota Singer and 21-yearold Dimitrius Kaplanis, both of Fort Wayne, after their car went off Ardmore near Covington and hit a few poles before bursting into flames at about 4:20am Sunday. By the time police had arrived, the car was engulfed, and at one point officials were even unsure if there was a third victim, due to the nature of the crash. Speed was a factor in the crash but it's unknown if alcohol was involved.

Singer and Kaplanis are the 28th and 29th traffic fatalities for Fort Wayne in 2015.
