FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Allen County Coroner has identified a Fort Wayne man killed in a Sunday morning shooting.

The Coroner’s Office says 35-year-old Edward Lambert Jr. is the 48th homicide of the year for Allen County. He was found suffering from gunshot wounds in a parking lot at the Diplomat Apartments on Fort Wayne’s southeast side at about 5:40am Sunday.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say they’re investigating the shooting, which left one other person in serious condition. The shooter remains at large.
