Cops Participate in Charity Ride Through Northeast Indiana

INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): Dozens of police officers are taking to the road this week.

But its not what you think it's the annual Cops Cycling for Survivors ride. Dozens of current and former officers will pedal their way through the state to bring awareness to police who died in the line of duty. The also are riding to raise money for their surviving families.

Today they'll travel 84 miles from Bluffton to Angola, with stops in Decatur, Fort Wayne and Auburn.

Rich Crawford, the President of Cops Cycling for Survivors Foundation, Inc, says they've raised about $600,000 in 12 years.
