Cool July Temperatures Break Records

FORT WAYNE (AP): The National Weather Service says parts of Indiana just missed setting low temperature records in July. Last month saw Fort Wayne record an average temperature of 69 degrees and South Bend at 68.7 degrees. That was the second-coolest July for Fort Wayne and the third coolest for South Bend. Indianapolis broke the record, with 70.1 as the average temperature for the month, breaking the 1947 record.
