Convenience Store Owner Killer Sentenced to 91 Years in Prison

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A man who killed a convenience store owner during a robbery in December will likely spend the rest of his life in prison.

26 year old Sanchez Williams was sentenced in Allen Superior Court Tuesday to 91 years in prison.

He was convicted by a jury in June of murder, felony murder, robbery, and using a firearm in the commission of a crime.

The Journal-Gazette says Williams has been in and out of the criminal justice system since he was 13. Now he'll probably be in prison for the rest of his life after killing 21 year old Moath Nassir, the owner of Big Al's Convenience Store on McKinnie Avenue.

Under law, he's required to serve 75 percent of his sentenced before being considered for early release, which means he'll be in his mid-90s before he can be eligible for early release.
