Construction to cause some Memorial Day cemetery access problems

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Memorial Day is about remembering those who died while serving in this country’s armed forces.

So for some, this weekend also means traveling to a cemetery to visit the grave site of a loved one… but in Fort Wayne, that might be a problem.

Catholic Cemetery says it’s expecting a “significant” increase in traffic, especially due to nearby road construction that leaves the eastbound lane of Lake Avenue closed right in front of the cemetery.

They’re asking visitors to enter using the westbound lane, just west of Coliseum Blvd.
