FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Plans for the Cityscape Flats apartment complex project in downtown Fort Wayne could change soon.

The complex, being built near Parkview Field, currently includes plans for 163 rental apartments and 14 owner-occupied townhouses, but the Journal Gazette reports that the project developer is now asking the Fort Wayne Plan Commission to revise its plans to allow for adding a fourth story to eight of those townhomes, as well as a third-floor rooftop deck.

The developer is citing market demand for larger homes. If approved, the change will also make for a larger price tag for the homes. Before, they were valued between $270,000 to $290,000, but this change would bump that to between $300,000 and $375,000.

A public hearing has been set for December 5th at 6pm.
