City Issues Request for Proposals for Riverfront study

Fort Wayne Mayor Tom Henry was joined by Legacy Fort Wayne leaders to talk about getting proposals for Riverfront Development for the Summit City.

These proposals will be the first comprehensive looks at ways to enhance the riverfront.

The city is asking for the proposals from the consultant teams by April 12th, interviews with finalists will happen in May and a final selection will be made this summer.

“This is going to be a tremendous year for the Legacy initiative,” said Mayor Henry. “The riverfront study is a great first step as we will begin to see transformational change in our community.”

The Riverfront Development Study is the first project to be funded by Legacy Fort Wayne dollars and is intended to provide the road map to a world class investment.
