Christmas Morning Shooting Leaves Two Hospitalized

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Two people are hospitalized after a Christmas morning shooting. Fort Wayne Police were called to the scene of East Wayne Street in regards to a shooting at “Sports and Spirits” around 1:13 A.M. Two victims were found inside the bar suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. One, an adult man, was taken in critical condition to a local hospital. Another victim, an adult woman, was taken to a hospital in fair condition. Early investigation shows that a disturbance happened inside the bar. The bar’s bouncer took the people who were instigating the confrontation outside and then locked the door. The suspects then began to shoot through the window into the bar. It's unknown at this time if the two victims who were shot were involved in the initial disturbance. Officers are trying to find the shooters based on initial reports. Video footage is being reviewed, and the crime scene is being processed for more evidence.
