FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Just after 8 Monday night, Fort Wayne fire crews responded to a house fire on Warsaw Street just east of Lafayette. They arrived to the scene to find all five occupants made it out safely. Crews pinpointed the start of the fire to an upstairs bedroom closet, and say it was a result of a child playing with a lighter. The blaze was under control in a matter of minutes, and the home sustained moderate smoke damage. One firefighter received minor injuries but was not taken to a hospital.
