Chicken Recall

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WOWO):  Prime Pak Foods, located in Gainesville, Georgia is recalling around 24,000 pounds of chicken products due to misbranding their product.  


The products in question were made with egg and wheat which are not declared on the product label.  The following products are part of the chicken recall:

* 2, 5-lb. bags in a 10-lb. box of “Sugar Lake Farms Fully Cooked Breaded Chicken Breast Tenders” with the product code 77422 printed on the box.
* 2, 5-lb. bags in a 10-lb. box of “Sugar Lake Farms Fully Cooked Spicy Breaded Chicken Breast Chunks” with the product code 77448 printed on the box. 

The products are marked “P-9165” inside the USDA mark of inspection and were produced between December 12th 2012 and March 21st 2014.  The products were mainly distributed to hotels, restaurants and institutions.
