Charges filed in Tobacco Shop Murder

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Murder charges now filed against the man accused of murdering a local tobacco shop owner.

According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, 22-year-old Jamel Coleman is now charged with murder. He’s accused of killing 44-year-old Antonio Nino. Nino was the shop owner of the Smoke House Tobacco Outlet on S. Lafayette St. Nino was shot to death on April 7th during an attempted robbery at his tobacco store.

Coleman is also being charged for robbery resulting in harm and for using a firearm to commit an offense. He was arrested earlier this month at an Indianapolis bus station.
