Central Indiana Eligible for Disaster Loans

INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): Indiana is finally getting federal aid for November storms in central Indiana.

Loans will be available for business, residents and other organizations in 19 counties.  According to the governors office,  the U.S. Small Business Administration will grant low interest funds following the weather that sparked five confirmed tornadoes November 17.

Daviess, Fountain and Howard county were primarily impacted. Other counties connected to those three are also eligible.

In the days ahead, outreach centers will be set up for residents to apply. The loans will also be processed online. Details are still to come.

The loans come after two other appeals were rejected by federal agencies.
